Q.

Hello Sir or Madam My daughter got fever 38degree 3 days before and even last month as well I'm giving her antibiotic as per doctor suggestion DUO augmentin but still doctor asked for blood test. ESR range is 72 doctor said we need admit baby from morning baby is not having fever please let me know advice. Thanks in advance

A. If fever is not there then no need to panic and talk to your treating paediatrician and discuss condition of the baby ESR is raised which needs to be addressed so folllw your doctor advice

A. Fever. If your baby is younger than 3 months old, contact your health care provider for any fever. If your baby is 3 to 6 months old and has a temperature up to 102 F (38.9 C) and seems sick or has a temperature higher than 102 F (38.9 C), contact your health care provider.
