so you both should take protine and energy rich diet
it is best to take 3 or 4 dates with one tbsp of ghee daily in morning.
take milk and milk based products in diet.
take fresh fruits i.e banana, apple , papaya, avacado etc
you can take multigrain food , beans etc more

well at first ensure that your kids weigh enough or not.
if your kids weighs enough then no need to worry about his or her appearance because for a child it is more important to stay happy and active then any other things.
so please focus on healthy development of your child.
ideally 8 year old child should have weight between 17 to 19 kg
and one year old child should have weight between 8 to 12kg.
