Q.

Hello Sir, my son is 4 months old. He is not urinating when asleep during day Or night. Mostly during night he doesn't urinate from 10 pm to 6 am. Once he is woke up then he urinates. Is this normal or abnormal ??

A. Thank you very much sir for your prompt response.During day time he urinates 9-10 times, I was worried about night but after your reply I feel relaxed now.

A. it's fine urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour. the minimum requirement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breazst feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any othzer complaint. there is no problem if the urine frequency is normal and the child is not passing urine at night
