Q.

hello sir my son has had a fever since yesterday afternoon and after having mild water he did the vomiting, once yesterday night and once this morning. As of now he just had paracetamol 2 times once yesterday night and once this morning. 5 ml dosage of 250 mg. Do I need to worry or need to wait for 3 days before going with physical consultation ??

A. I was given an incorrect date by mistake He is almost 8 years old now , can we give 4 times paracetamol ?? Also can I give sinarest as he is having little bit cold cough

A. yes your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times perd day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.
