hello sir,my girl baby is 11 months 20 days old she is suffering from high fever from last Saturday iam giving her paracetamol, temperature gets down for 7 hours again it's raising what to do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be zcarried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. Keep monitoring for temperature. If it continues, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
