hello sir..my daughter is 4.8 months old..and she is suffering from cold cough and fever and vomiting..plz suggest medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicinevf which should be given only aftder a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Give maxtra syrup for cold and cough to ur baby.
Give paracetamol to ur baby for fever if the fever is 99.5F or above.
U can give ondem syrup to stop vomitings if the vomitings are frequent.
