Q.

hello sir, my baby is now 6 month old and his poo is greenish every day, there was a little bite of infection in his stomach. I started solid at around 5 and half year old to observe his potty colour after solid but still it has no change. what should I do now please guide me.

A. hi usually it is normal among young babies to pass green stool. in Breastfed babies ,it is caused by Imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk. so please feed your child on each breast atleast 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well. make changes In your diet ,as it might be a reaction to the food. stop giving semisolid food to your child. stick on Breastfeeding. but If a child is formulafed baby then it is caused by iron supplements of formula. so don't worry. but if your child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell then you should consult your pediatrician.
