Hello Sir, My baby is 8 months old. Sometimes he poops dark green which looks like black and also hard with black strings. I'm giving him solid food . Also iron is continue as per doc suggestion. please advice what is the reason and should I consult with doc or not .

A. as your baby is on iron supplements than his/her poop can be dark green to black in color, that is completely normal.. and nothing to worry about it. tc..
