hello sir...my 7 months old baby having cold and cough....I give a medicine s for her ...now o give orange 3 piece liquid only .pls suggest me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated withfh anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

please avoid it till your child become healthy
please give easily digestible food like warm dal rice and khichdi vegetable soup and upma daliya mashes etc
please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with Babyhug rapid relief rub
