Hello sir. My 3 months old baby boy named Ibraheem is suffering from extreme cough ( with mucus) . We have taken him to our nearby doctor and he has given us some medications. His mucus has decreased by he still coughs quite a bit..Is it ok to continue with this medications

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if thedre is no improvement after three days then take a follow up. so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not .

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 4 m old girl3 years agoA. home remedies are all good but it would take a longer time to recover. Babies cant bear for a long time. It's better to check with doctor once and you can treat with medicines and home remedies parallely, that will help on faster recovery for the baby
