Hello Sir/Mam, My child is 15 days old. How could I know whether her stomach is filled or not? . she feeds and sleep in between and then again cry n I get her feed. This process goes on. but I m not able to understand whether her stomach get filled or not. secondly, she poops after 3-4 days.. is this normal.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.x
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child x
