hello sir/madam My baby is 3 months old. from morning itself having cough and sneezing.. in the mrng i have taken head bath. shall I give medicine now .. or have to wait sometime .. pls reply

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only afgyter a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dosve can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi if a child is coughing frequently and can not sleep or take feed because of it ,you must consult your pediatrician. please continue with breastfeeding . keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding and sleeping. give Sunbath for 20 minutes a day give Massage with warm coconut oil and Tulsi leaves
