Q.

hello sir/madam my baby boy is 5 months old .he suffered from congential diaphragmatic hernia (CDH).On the day of birth only operation was successfull.but when we go to regular check up doctor said that everything is okay but some left lung is not fully recovered doctor suggested for us to do operation again.is it compulsory needed operation for him or is it recovered it by growth or else any other treatment required please suggest me please

A. hi parent please follow up with your doctor as he has examined the case and following it regularly he knows it better and generally speaking if at all operation is suggested it means the defect can be repaired only by operation and no other means
