Q.

hello sir good morning I want to know as I'm having gestational diabetes during my anomaly scan my liquor level is 5 and placenta anterior low-lying. Ductus venosus was absent but intrahepatic type agnesis. so I'm offered to do amniocentesis, can I do the procedure as some risk factor involved. Need your support.

A. It is better that you go ahead with amniocentesis and definitely there will be a little bit of risk involved because it is a small procedure, but usually it will not harm the baby most of the times
