Hello Paediatrician, last night while playing my son's own finger nail touched his eyes due to this, now his eyes look red, please suggest some eye drop or ointment. Thank you

his eye got injured by his own finger nail, it's not due to conjunctivitis, please advise in case of injury , how we can cure it.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. if the red spot in the eyes or redness comes again and again and is not improving on its own in next two or three days and the child is also having complaints (watery and itchy eyes) then it is advisabled to maintain hygiene of the eyes and meet your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment because it can be either due to allergy or infectionx (conjunctivitis).
