Q.

hello my son leon was exposed to hiv patients, is there any chance to get infection. please tell me.

A. it is not possible to get infection just by exposure and less by blood and other means Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

A. No HIV is not a contagious thing so it is not going to harm your child in any manner HIV is not something like Covid which is in the air and the child or anybody else can get affected if your child has just been exposed generally then it is not going to affect your child in any manner
