Q.

Hello ! My son is 35 days old and he is having jaundice . His direct billirubin level is 2.71 mg/dl and indirect billrubin level is 9.02 mg/dl and my doctor has prescribed gardynal syrup 2ml twice a day for one week so will it get cured with this and if it doesn’t than what is the further treatment?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 35 days old and he is having a neonatal jaundice which is extended one so get his stools examined and LFT done as well so

A. most of the babies will be having physiological jaundice which will be getting reduced between two to three weeks of age if it is persistent be and this time we had investigate the baby
