hello my son is 3 years old he had cough problem before 8 months nose continue running how the problem can be solved

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracgetamol can be given to reducef the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better
