Hello, my son has 101 fever since morning...have given calpol 250mg thrice quantity of 3 ml with 4 hours gap as per the dosage given on the syrup bottle but the temperature is not coming down. Please help. Can I give mefkind p suspension, if yes what should be the gap between this and calpol.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, avoid self medication. For any fever paracetamol is fine..after giving paracetamol wait for 30mins to 1 hour...if fever does not subside you can give tepid sponging to bring down the temperature n on me visit ur doctor
