Q.

hello.. my son 4 years and 8 months old.. His haemoglobin is low.. so doctor has given zincovit syrup. but wants to know what i can give him to improve it like home made food or any vegetables or fruits... i knw beet is very good to improve haemoglobin bt my son hates it

Good sources: non-haem iron wholegrain foods (e.g. bread, rolled oats and breakfast cereals)breakfast cereals enriched with iron.legumes (e.g. baked beans, dried peas, beans and lentils)green leafy vegetables (e.g. spinach and broccoli)dried fruit (e.g. sultanas, apricots, dates or prunes)eggs.peanut butter.
