HomeQuestions & AnswersHello,
My kid is 6 years old boy ,he is very possessive of me.He will cry if I talk or be friendly with my friends. if I use friend or any relative words like like "my sister","my brother" , "my friend" he will react too much.if he see any photos with my friends he will cry or he will delete.if I get any smileys or love emojis in what's app he will delete.of course I avoid giving phones to him sometimes he sees accidentally.I can give one example: one week back it was our marriage anniversary and our friends came to our house along with their kids for a small party then my friend asked me and my husband to dance and we started dancing and my kid starting crying.
Please help me to make my kids strong and come out of this type of behavior which is bothering too much to the entire family.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very important to spend more time with your child. you have to observe at what time the child is behaving in such a manner. you may have to take help of your family members as well as clinical psychologist if necessary. many times such behaviour may be due to some stress the child might be having as well as it might be due to some behaviour issues. you can meet your doctor who will guide yzou what steps can be taken to improve the behaviour of the child. the most common is usually loss of time given to the child due to the busy parents as well as due to tv mobile and laptop ezxposure which is not moderated.

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello it would be better to cry talking with your child and see what problem the child is having and try to make your child understand that you love the child and it is nothing that you being with others would affect the child and make it understand things better
