Hello my daughter is of 4years she has runny nose n cough so i gave ascoril ls 5ml twice daily for 4days approx is my dosage cirrect for my daughter please doctor help me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and has decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Where is mostly 2.5 to 3 ML twice a day depending upon the weight of the child as well because that plays a very important role by this age if your child is more than 18 KG than 5ML at one point of time is definitely good otherwise it is on the higher side and still if it has not subsided and you should talk to your doctor onesWrite Your Answer Here
