Hello.. My daughter is 7.5 months old. she is having loose motion past 4days. my doctor give ZN 20 and ORS. but her motion frequency is not improving. she passing poop 3/4 times per day. what can i do? what food can i give? she is totally formula feeding baby.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption.
Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days for two times a day.
For any specific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hyhtdration .
can give khichdi mashed potato ripe banana poha if the baby is above 6 months of age,
maintain proper hydration by giving plenty of fluids.
