Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is due to teething.
there is itching, pain, drooling of saliva, swelling in the gums, oral finger insertion, irritability and crying during the teething process.
with the help of your fingers you can press the gums of the child to decrease the pain as well afs you can give a pacifier but it should be clean.
you can give a cold cotton cloth to bite and press between the gums
the child is fcrying due to pain then you can give paracetamol which will also help in decrefasing the pain
long-term medicine are usually not advisable
