Hello my daughter complete 14 months of her age she was suffering from runny nose and cold and cough from two days what can we do for that which medicines can be preferable for my daughter..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accorgding to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracekutamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

give steam inhalation
use nasoclear saline nasal drops
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time
you can use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
