Mom of 2 kidsMom of a 3 yr 6 m old child3 years agoA. Not only child but sometimes even adults have this kind of issue like ear pain… this happens due to air pressure difference… ask child(try if it works) to keep on sipping water during take off or landing or whenever s/he feels such pain… it has worked for me so I feel can work for your child too.. also you can discuss this with air hostess. Usually they advice feeding child(who are on mother’s feed) during take off or landing.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. there is no problem in in going in a flight.
the important thing is that you have to to make sure that the child does not come in contact with more people.
during takeoff and landing it is important that the child should be givenn feeding or a pacifier to decrease the air pressure in the ear which will again help in decreasing the the ear pain during the flight.
you have to keep with yourself painkiller like paracetamol which may be needed to decrease the pain if the child cries excessively.
your personal doctor will tell you more whether your child is physically compatible for a flight ride or not
