Hello, my baby was born premature 1.5 kgs on week 36th due to low amniotic fluid level. He was in NICU for 12 days and was discharged at 1.7 kg. His current weight is 2.7 kg. He is more on formula feed Prenan. What should be the ideal quantity of feed that he should be given and what should be the time gap?

Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly. And according to that baby weight is totally fine so you should not worry about it at all. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby till your baby turned six months
