Q.
Hello, my baby is of 11 months. she has fever.. doctor prescribe her combiflam syrup.. i gave her once.. but her fever returns after 3.5 hours.. what should I do? when should i gave her medicine again?

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid prepafrations. cold sponging of the whole body wgith tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
