Q.

Hello my baby is not gaining her birth weight even after 26 days.. my supply is i think not adequate for her. Shall i supplement formula for her and which formula should i hi for? Nanpro?

A. if the urine output isb6 to 8 times a day it indicates adequate milk intake if not then give formula to the baby . . . . .. . . ..

A. Hi mom Babeis they loose their weight in the initial ten days after birth. They loose 10 % of their birth weight. After that they start to gain. If ur baby is active and playful, taking proper sleep and feed, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day then that means ur baby is taking sufficient feed. If weight gain is not proper and ur baby is crying of hunger, then u can start with formula milk.
