Q.

hello, my baby is not drinking milk properly while she is awake and she will drink while sleepy. am really worried about this... can u pls suggest what might be the reason?

A. first of all meet your doctor and get the weight of the child assessment done. if the weight gain of the child is within normal limits as well as the urine output is normal then do not worry about the feeding pattern, the sleeping pattern and the crying pattern of the child. your doctor is the best person to tell you whether any outside milk is required or not until that time kindly continue only breastfeeding..... A. Hi mom still follw the feeding schedule feed baby every 2-3 hours during the day time. It's important to do this. And night hours feed every 4-5 hours. Night hours it's fine to leave baby sleep for a while because as food, sleep is also important. But don't wait for baby to cry just feed frequently
