Q.

Hello,my baby is 84 days old. she had a vaccination shot recently on her thigh, after few days i noticed a lump on the shot area. should i worry or visit a doctor.

A. Use ice packs twice a day

A. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two monthsc also. c it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting

A. lump in the shot area is normal that will get cure on its own in some time.. you can use ice cubes rub on vaccination area to reduce the swelling.. no worries.. that will cure on some time..
