Q.

hello... my baby is 7 month old..2 weeks ago he had fever doctor said it was due to infection..after 2 3 days he was normal..and now again from tomorrow he is fown with fever...and his temperature is fluctuating...what to do?

A. actually his platelet count was increased a little..he was given cefpodoxime oral suspnsion...but his fever is returning...

A. your child may require certain investigations to be done so you should re consult your doctor for those investigations and then only proper treatment could be followed with antibiotics . .

A. The type of infection causing the fever usually determines how often the fever recurs and how long the fever lasts. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
