Hello My baby is 3 and half month old How to know whether he cries for hunger or for sleep? He always want his hands and finger in his mouth Sometimes he feeds well Sometimes when I offer feed he starts crying How to differentiate between these cries of hunger sleep boredom

A. if he cries Just keep finger in baby's mouth if he bites it's a sign of hunger other than that if he cries it's a sign of sleep understand or else he may need more milk

A. Colic in babies may be considered when baby is crying for more than 2 to 3 hours with no other specific reason and in a high pitched cry with arching of the body and flushed face. There could be many causes for colic in babies like gerd immature digestive system allergies ingulping of aur while feeding and lactose intolerance. Mothers diet and lifestyle can also be a major factor. Management could be in form of medicines like probiogtics digestive enzymes antiflatulence and some home remedies. Avoidance of formula milk cow's milk . Cycling mcanuvours to relieve gas massage and proper burping after each feeding is also helpful .

Its where is simple if you’re fed your child after that your child is crying then mostly due to sleep otherwise a lot of times you will see if your child wants to sleep your child will have you know heavy eyes and all and still if you do not understand and I would just like to say that when kids are mostly sleepy they behave like this and if your child is hungry then they will make a fist in their hand that’s quite a sign
