Hello. My baby is 2months and 6 day old. She hasn't pooped since two days. Due to her digestion issue her paediatric has asked her for stool test. But she usually passes stool mid night or during the day time. How will I store her stool den fr test can I keep the day time stool and give dat next morning fr stool test??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time.
It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also.
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need tof worry about the frequency as well as colour as well asf the smell of the stool
Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal
