Q.

Hello, my baby is 1yr 3m. last night he had suffered from fever 99°F.so I gave 2ml of paracetamol oral 3 times in a day. is this okay or not?

A. For fever below 99 °C, there is no need to give paracetamol. You can just wipe your child's body with a towel and water. Paracetamol should be given only when needed. If the child has a fever of 100.3 °C and above, only then give Paracetamol. The dosage depends on the weight of the child. It is mentioned in the label.
