Q.

Hello, my baby is 1month old she is having a bit issue while passing stool. is this normal? I consulted the dr they said it's normal and due to top feed Similac advance which I'm giving. I give her breast feeding for 2 hr still she feels hungry so I have to give top feed to her should I change the formula milk from Similac to nanpro?

A. that s absolutely normal it s normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion can be different for everyone . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief.  No syrup is given for this below 2 years
