Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many where the most important causative factor is decrease intake of fiber rich diet along with lesser fluid intake. some food like junk food mostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition. Here the diet modification should be tried first so encourage fibre diet give fruits and vegetable . Avoid excess of cows or buffalo milk and maida containing food . Medications like lactulose , milk of magnesia and Peg (muout ) phowderare used . In emergency situation soap water with finger stimulation in rectal area and glycerine supposgitory can be tried .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Have your child drink diluted 100% fruit juice. A serving of prune juice or prunes once a day may help. Teach your child to come in from play every time they have the urge to poop. Encourage them to be active by playing instead of sitting.
