hello. my baby is 1 month old. he is having red spots on entire face. i use virgin coconut oil to massage baby before bath. I don't apply any cream/lotion on face of baby. please advice.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. it is looking like a baby acne, quite common in newborns. it will appear at two weeks and gradually subside by it's own by the age of two months. keep massagin with your regular oil. keep feeding regularly.ok

patilGuardian of a 5 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 1 month old and he is having an allergic dermatitis and as you are using coconut oil for baby massage and it’s the cause of such rash and nothing is advisable to apply on his skin

The coconut oil that you are using a Norby Subin Das kg of the child probably which is why this could be happening for their hundred would recommend you to stop using anything on to the face of the child just wash it with water and go ahead with applying calamine lotion regularly on to the affected area
