One of the major causes for it is either viral or bacterial infections apart from that it is also contaminated food or water ,no proper hygiene.
In terms of diet it is very important to give the child well cooked food that is soft in consistency easy to eat and digest such as rice , roti , other cereals , breads etc apart from that fruits and vegetables as well can be given fluids are to be maintained in proper proportions to avoid dehydration in form of vegetable soups, buttermilk ,coconut water.
certain foods we need to avoid in this condition such as spicy foods also foods higher in sugars all chocolate ,candies, ice cream etc milk and milk products If it trigger or causes irritation or discomfort then it is better to be avoided apart from this as per the condition of the child would be on medications and therapies could be required as per doctors advise
