Q.
hello, my baby has fever from yesterday, we saw doctor yesterday if high fever means give ibugesic to baby in alternate way p100 and after 4 hours ibugesic. now I gave p100 my baby take vomit after giving syrup. so pls anyone tell me can I give her ibugesic syrup now or have to wait for 4 hours.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it would be advisable to give paracetamol every 6 hourly and in between if the fever is not improving then between the 6 hours gap you can give syrup ibugesic and Ibugesic can be given anytime after 2 hours of paracetamol.

Your child has vomited within first 30 minutes of giving the medicine then of course you have to repeat the medicine if you do not want to give what you had given then you can give the other medication depending upon how high the fever is accordingly you please decide whether they should be giving the medicine or not
