Hello, my baby boy is 3 years old. He swallowed a spoonful of baby tooth paste mistakenly. Is there any serious issue? Please let me know.

ExpertDr Suruchi JunejaPediatric Dentist5 months agoA. Dear parent, there is nothing to worry. If the paste was fluoride free, then absolutely no safety concerns. Even in fluoridated pastes, the fluoride content is such that the fluoride ingestion from entire toothpaste is less than toxic dose.
