Q.

Hello, My baby boy is 2 months old and seems to be having Umbilical Hernia (attached is the photo). Plz suggest, how the same can be cured? Does it need any treatment or medicine? How much time does it take to cure? What precautions shall we take?

A. It will fade-away automatically as she grows up but don’t allow her to cry and bind a cotton clothes belt on her umbilicus for three weeks and keep watch on it

A. . .Any pediatrician should examine the baby as it may be some under lying problem with the baby . If fever is there then paracetamol can be given for immediate relief . No any medication without consulting doctor .
