hello my baby 3 month old....before 10 DYS 5.5 weight but now sudden low the weight ..what to do?...from starting only i have low milk supply but she gaining weight ..now also low milk ..3 month old baby I thought she can't getting inuff milk ..confusion to me

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear mum, weight of 5.5 kg is a normal weight for 3 months old baby. if your child was sick recently then that could be one of the reasons for losing weight. however if your baby is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, gaining weight at least 500 grams per month, achieving all growth milestones then feeding is sufficient.
if breast milk supply is not sufficient then you can give formula.
if weight loss continues, then consult doctor.
