hello... my 9month old baby body temperature is 98.2 ...is this normal.. or it's fever...

Dr Medha PatilMom of a 9 yr 1 m old boy6 years agoA. Temperature above 98.5-99°F is considered as fever. Till 99.5°F , there is no need to give any medicine. Just do tepid sponging with room temperature water. But if temperature rises above 99.5 , then you will need to give antipyretics. Always keep a medicine for fever handy with dose prescribed by pediatrician in case of emergency.
