Q.

hello... my 9month old baby body temperature is 98.2 ...is this normal.. or it's fever...

A. Temperature above 98.5-99°F is considered as fever. Till 99.5°F , there is no need to give any medicine. Just do tepid sponging with room temperature water. But if temperature rises above 99.5 , then you will need to give antipyretics. Always keep a medicine for fever handy with dose prescribed by pediatrician in case of emergency.

A. It is definitely not normal body temperature but this would not be considered to be fever the temperature is not even 99 so you don't need to give any medicine to the baby. As of now
