Q.

hello my 9 month daughter is having temperature from yesterday.. at night 2 pm. I had given her calpol 1 ml but still temperature not decreased it's same only so can I give meftal p 60 ml suspension ? and how much ?? please help me to know soon so that my daughter's temp get decrease

A. you can give calpol to your child. but temperature remain same visit doctor

A. yes you can give you can give paracetamol to the child when the temperature is 100 or more in the armpit of the child. paracetamol can be repeated maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge and give plenty of fluids to drink to prevent dehydration. higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p is advised by the doctor if required. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
