Q.
hello my 5 years kid head is hot .but total body is normal.what is the problem recently 1 month back he got mumps.it is gone. some time his head is hot why pls answer

but we done blood test 10days before
in that wbc is 12500
and crp is 13 is it any problem
from 1 hour only he has hot and temperature is 98.8 pls what can i do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.

you have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm headx palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
