hello my 4month baby boy is having cough and the doctor has given him tussalyte tonic and icyrub ointments to rub on chest but it has been 3 days but the cough is not reducing....plz help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treatedd only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of trecatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
