Q.

hello my 3 months old baby is coughing a lot today..my doctor usually suggest her maxtra drops for 3 days. she's coughing a lot without running nose.. should I give maxtra drops or wait for her to improve of visiit doctor..

A. visit it is important to give breast feeding or milk at frequent intervals to keep the child hydrated. anti cold medicines are not given without medical consultation what you can give now is nasal saline drops which is salt water and can be given again and again to decrease nasal blockfage as well as cough and cold try to prevent temperature variations around the child and keep the child well covered

A. good evening in the current scenario it will be better if you don't wait for the child to improve you should immediately try to visit your doctor for proper check up and start using medicine as prescribed
