Q.

Hello. My 1 year old baby is passing loose motion after eating food. is it normal? what medicine can be given to stop it. loose motions are not more than 4 per day and she is passing around 6 motions in a day. can we try home home remedies like sabudana ?

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and itgvs known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infecction which needs antibiotics treatment
