hello, my 1 week new born baby is being very cranky at night and do not sleep on bed,only on lap. what to do to sleep him well at night?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. yes so.gas trouble is common in newborns and is a cause of discomfort . Give tummy time to baby . Give only exclusive breastfeeding to baby . Burp baby for atleast 20 minutes on shoulder after each feeds . Massage baby tummy gently . Give drops gastica 1 ml 2 -3 times a day . Colic pain worsens at evening and night and baby cries at night and is unable to sleep due to pain . Give colic aid / drops meftal spas 0.5 ml at evening time . Breastfeeding reduces chances of colic pain .
